The Law of One aka The Ra Material came to be as a channeled work completed through 106 sessions held between 1981 and 1983. Ra’s message is simple: All is One. Everything else is a Distortion, Separation, Projection and so on:
“All things, all of life, all of the creation is part of one original thought.”

The Ra tell that they are an ancient species originating about a million years ago on planet Venus. Throughout the years, they have evolved through the Densities, and they now reside the Sixth Density, or Dimension.
Ra speaks in length of an eon-long battle between The Orion Group and the Federation. The Orions are Reptilians, attacking planets, controlling, destroying and enslaving civilizations. The Federation has been protecting Planet Earth from the Orions by casting a “safety grid” over our planet. The Orions’ aggression and move to totalitarian control of planet Earth, and the Federation’s efforts to protect it, are also referred to in other Ra messages by channelers such as Sam the Illusionist.
There is an ongoing debate wether Ra could have channeled only by the original group (Don, Carla and Jim), or Ra can continue and speak through other “instruments” (channelers).
The Ra messages of Oneness and Unity is reflected in all major teachings such as Kabbalah, Buddhism, The Essenes, The Gnostics and Christianity. Oneness, according to Ra, also implied that there is no right or wrong, that all is served in order for The Creator to know thyself, and that all is and are The Creator.
In the very first session, Ra gives the only statement they ever give (Ra only answers questions otherwise) and it is:
Let us for a moment consider thought. What is it, my friends, to take thought? Took you then thought today? What thoughts did you think today? What thoughts were part of the original thought today? In how many of your thoughts did the creation abide? Was love contained? And was service freely given? You are not part of a material universe. You are part of a thought. You are dancing in a ballroom in which there is no material. You are dancing thoughts. You move your body, your mind, and your spirit in somewhat eccentric patterns for you have not completely grasped the concept that you are part of the original thought.

Secrets of the UFO | Don Elkins & Carla Rueckert (1978)
Three years prior to the the first channeling sessions of Ra, Don and Carla interview at a local Atlanta TV station. They speak of their recent trip to Mexico where they have undergone a “psychic surgery”, done by an old lady who took Carla’s kidneys out, “massaged” them and put them back. All without any medical equipment but a knife, no meds and not in a hospital. The UFO connection here is a precursor to the meeting of the minds with Ra, that came later. This video will give you a good insight on the state of things in 1978 and how far ahead Don and Carla were even in this “early” point.
