A Torah scroll is written by hand, by a dedicated “Sofer” (“writer”). The scrolls are created and inscribed in same 3,000 year old tradition.
Each Torah scroll contains 304,805 letters, organized into 5,852 verses and 187 chapters. It takes approximately nine (9) months to complete one Torah scroll.
